Fishing

Fishing and hunting is a widely practiced summer pastime in Norway. Our campground is ideally located to enjoy this relaxing sport. The Glomma river is known for being host to more fish than any other river in the country and of quite a variety: Trout, Grayling, Pike, Perch (or Bass), and several kinds of Whitefish. And they are easily caught by a simple rod with a spinner or lure. For the beginning as well as the experienced fly-fisher, the Glomma is a true eldorado (heaven on earth, dream come true).

In close vicinity to the campground you will find an interesting diversity in stream areas, islands, channels (of trenches als je meer in het land bedoelt). We can tell you where you have the best odds for a bite. Your fishing-license, which can be purchased at the reception, is good for an area of 90 kilometers + surrounding lakes. Success guaranteed. During the winter months the Glomma and surrounding lakes offer plenty of ice fishing fun.
